Isabel Oliva Extra credits - Students with special needs

Maybe, people think that learning English is more difficult to students with a special need. Fortunately, nowadays we have in ICTs  great resources to improve the language.

Today, we are going to see two examples to encourage to our students in their learning processes.

An interesing app is Visual reading created to assist children with Autism, Dyslexia or those with learning difficulties to read and create stories in a fun way.

The application was designed by Ian Jones whose little daughter loves books, but due to her autism struggles with words.

Other resource is IXL, a dynamic and immersive website that offers an adaptive learning to students with special needs. It provides fun exercises in maths, language, arts, science and so on. Children remain motivated by earning awards like stickers and balloons for each lesson mastered.
